Converting Question

I have a MIDI Sequence File I would like to convert to Mp3 however I do not want to loose the sound quality by doing so. Is this possible? and preferably easy do to?

get Replay AV and record it (make sure you record only the synth part on the sound card or you'll get unnecessery noise) , then open up a sound editing program, and raise the volume a little bit if you need to.

I cant get it to record for some reason. Is Replay Av the only program I could use?
