I was wondering if someone could tell me how to fix this track. I cannot play it on any of my players. I do not have realplayer on my computer. I use vlc player, windows media player, and MPH-HC. Here is the file. https://www.sendspace.com/file/1r1f6e
If you cannot fix it that is okay too. Thanks for the help.

Thanks pixelated for the help. I thought that is where I downloaded that file. Thanks again and I guess I will fix the rest of those files.

I am sorry I was wrong. On that website doinginthedark.com how can you fix those .ram files for the country bear vacation hoedown the first audio file does work with the .vlc player, but the rest of the files says unable to render. Thanks for the help and sorry to bother with this problem.

Is that website name correct?

I get the HTTP 404 Not Found error if I try to navigate to that URL.  Just to be sure, I opened VLC 2.2.2 Weatherwax, selected Media -> "Open Network Stream...", pasted that URL into the text box and got nothing.

How did you get that .ram file to play in VLC?

http://www.doneinthedark.com/bears/mp3 opens the index but clicking the files brings up "don't snoop around my stuff" and then directs to the CB page.

Vacation Hoedown http://bears.windowtothemagic.com/bears/hoedown2000.html

Some stream on VLC, some don't.
I suppose one could record using a recorder that records the loudspeaker PC sounds.

Edit: Only the first one streams on VLC. The first file just connects to the stream using VLC
The others all bring up an unable to play message on RealPlayer suggesting a corrupt file may be to blame - unexpected data.

I am trying to play the audio tracks. The Great Outdoors both tracks work the DSL/Cable and Dial-Up, with the .vlc player, but not the rest of the tracks. When I the rest of the tracks on the .vlc player no audio comes up and just sits there.

That's because only the first .ra file (hoedown01hq.ra for the DSL/Cable link) has been updated to point to Paul Barrie's newer website.

So "hoedown01hq.ra" points to: http://www.windowtothemagic.com/doneinthedark/mp3/hoedown/newhoe01hq.rm
which works.

But "hoedown02hq.ra" points to:
http://www.doneinthedark.com/bears/mp3/hoedown/newhoe02hq.rm
which does not work.

Paste that first working URL in the address bar of a web browser and change the number in the filename from "1" to "2", then "3", etc. until you get all the .rm files.

and downloadable (I used video downloadhelper but the files come up without a title, just "media") and converted to mp3

Yes it is and I'm sure there is a completely reasonable and G-Rated explanation for it too... That no one ever wants to believe haha ;D

Edit: I just re-read the thread and realized this was talking about a typo that was made. Haha still my observation feels about right :p

Hey pixelated thanks for the help. The method you told me worked. I have been wanting these files or a while now.
