Transfering music to iPhone from a different library
« on: May 19, 2018, 03:20:29 AM »

I have a Apple laptop that unfortunately does not have a CD drive. Is there a way to use another laptop (another iTunes library) to import a CD and transfer the songs to my iPhone? BUT without syncing and removing all my music? Which for some reason it wants to do. I have tried to look up videos and info  on how to do this but unfortunately those are for the older versions of ITunes.

Thanks

In iTunes, select your phone, and at the bottom, in the Options section, uncheck the "Automatically sync" box and check the "Manually manage music and videos" box.  After you've added whatever songs to your iTunes, then you simply drag whatever you want to the iPhone.
