Why are you bumping the thread less than an hour after the first post?

Did you check the itunes technical support site at Apple?

Well, I try as best I can.

I searched the internet for 5 minutes and everything I found said you need to convert the files.

iTunes only plays .mp4's, and only the base profile mp4's at that.  There are many external programs that convert them for you, then just add the completed files to your library.

iTunes is a terrible video player so in general I wouldn't reccomend you do this unless you mean to put the videos on your iPod.

The internet is a wonderful tool.  I copied one link below.  If you are a mac user, I would suggest you check versiontracker.com as well.

I believe you can.

In iTunes:
Click File, then "Add File to Library..." or "Add Folder to Library". From there iTunes should convert the files for you. (audio files, at least)

I use http://www.zamzar.com/. You upload files or URL's of things you want music from, and it converts it for free without having to download any weird software. When you have it free, you can only convert up to 5 files at a time, but it converts very quickly, so as long as you stay on top of things you pretty much can have unlimited conversions, for free!  ;D

Your Best results will come from using squezz or flip 4 mac and export the media, but you have to buy them to export properly, But thats if you want the best quality. I use them both every day. Actually buy flip 4 mac then down load MPEG Streamclip and export using that, or Buy flip 4 mac  and export the clips in Quick time pro and use the iPod or iTunes preset. thinking about it now there a ton of ways to do this.....Sorry I babbled.
